Enrollment Policies

Enrollment in dance instruction continues for a nine-month class session (September through May). The classes are designed to build on sequential levels of learning. Please consider enrollment to be continuous throughout the class term. If a student must withdraw, please notify us via phone or email. Tuition will continue to accrue until notification is received.

A registration fee of $60 ($70 family rate) will be due at the time of enrollment.  This fee is non-refundable.

Payment Policy

Fees are due on the 1st of each month and considered late after the 15th. All families will be required to have a debit or credit card on file for payments. In an effort to cover the costs of credit card processing fees, we will charge a 2.59% surcharge to every transaction paid with a Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit card. This does not apply to debit cards or other forms of payment. A new option available now is ACH bank draft. If you wish to sign up for this, please be aware that there will be a $75 NSF charge to your jackrabbit account in the event the draft does not go through. All payment options will be run the 1st day of the month. If you do not want your card charged you must pay before that month. For example, if you do not want your card charged for April, you must pay by March 31st. In addition, if you decide to drop and do not notify us by the time the card is run, there will be no refunds. It is up to you to tell us about card changes and changed expiration dates. Failure to pay on time will result in a $10 late fee for which you will be billed. A dance month is 3-5 weeks because of holidays. Some months are shorter, however we do not charge you extra for long months. 

Inclement Weather/Studio Holidays

Our studio calendar is based off the Norman Public Schools Calendar. The studio will be closed for Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break, however we do not close for the “Monday Only” or “Friday Only” holidays. Please see the STUDIO CALENDAR for this season’s closings.

When weather conditions necessitate local school system closings, dance classes may not necessarily be canceled, as the weather and roads often clear up by 3 pm. All announcements regarding weather cancellations will be made via the studio Instagram @massaysdancestarproductions, or you can call the studio to confirm.

General Rules 

· Any important information regarding your child’s class or your account will be handled through email. Please make sure the email listed on your child’s account is one that is checked regularly.

· Please be sure to label all dance attire, shoes, dance bags, and any other accessories with the student’s name in permanent ink.

· Have a special dance bag that contains only the items needed for class, and always have those items in the bag.

· Before every class, remind your dancer to use the restroom.

· No food or drink allowed in the dance rooms except for water battles with a secure lid (not a straw.)

· No gum allowed in class.

· Dancers should be ready and wearing the proper shoes before dance starts. Classes are delayed by those who come into class and then proceed to get ready.

· Tell your child to wait inside the studio for you to pick him or her up. You may either wait in the drop off line to drive right in front of the doors, or park and come inside to pick up your child.

· Parents are responsible for small children. Please do not allow them to run loose in the lobby or dance shop.

· Please help keep our studio clean. Put your trash in the trash cans, etc.
